Usage of the CHTP is limited to those who have been approved for on campus research by their home department.  To apply for CHTP access, please submit the request form to the Director.  All users must abide by the COVID-19 safety plan for the CHTP or risk losing access to the facility.  Any sample preparation or imaging requests that are not approved by the Director will not be completed.

Users will not enter CHTP. Must have Director approval prior to making a booking (min 1 week in advance).  Any samples dropped off and bookings made without Director approval will not be placed into the priority queue.

  • For operator-assisted mode, users will be able to communicate via Zoom or email during the sessions, but will not be present at the CHTP

  • Training will be a hybrid of online and in-person one-on-one instruction
  • Once trained, you will be able to work independently. Please note that occupancy restrictions and other user requests may prevent additional requests for help once trained
  • Your supervisor will be billed for any training course that you begin, so please ensure that you only request training that you will actually use.
